At Airco Mechanical, Ltd. there are no additional charges for after hour services. The minimum service fee for all service calls is $84. Estimates for larger jobs are generally done at no charge to the customer. When the plumber arrives he will quote the price of the job before he begins the work. Once you have given your approval to begin the work our plumber will waive the $84 charge and you pay only the price to do the work you have approved at the price you understand. Since it is extremely difficult to accurately quote prices without examining the circumstances or problems surrounding then nature of the repair, we do not quote prices by phone. We believe it is in the best interest of our customers to have a trained professional (who has his eyes on the job) deliver a firm quote from in advance of doing the work. We charge only by the job or task. You can also ask our phone representative or plumber about how to save an additional 15% off our regular prices every day.
Coverage should be provided by a state licensed plumbing contractor and should provide detailed terms and conditions for the parts, systems, and components for a specified coverage period. The effective coverage date should be for one full year unless otherwise stated. Systems, parts, and appliances covered should be described with any limitations or liability. Included and/or excluded features should also be clearly identified.

For typical service calls, your Airco Mechanical, Ltd. technician has everything needed to take care of most plumbing problems. Occasionally, specific custom or unusual parts or equipment are needed that can be ordered and installed the same day. Airco Mechanical maintains a large inventory of standard or common plumbing parts to speed up the delivery of specially ordered parts to all our customers.
Does someone have to be at home for you to do your work? For safety and security reasons, Airco Mechanical, Ltd. usually requires a responsible adult to be present in the home when we answer a request for help or arrive for a scheduled appointment. For the sake of convenience, our customers occasionally make special arrangements ahead of time for payment and access to the home. We are also happy to call a customer at another location with short notice so that they can meet us at their home at the appointed time.
The filters on a reverse osmosis water system must be changed each year to ensure that you have the highest quality drinking water in your home. The central filter, or membrane, should last from two to four years depending upon the quality of the water. The membrane should be checked each year when the system is serviced to see if the membrane should be replaced.
It is possible to change the filters yourself. However, there are some important disinfecting and cleaning procedures that must be performed each year when the filters are changed. We recommend that you call Airco Mechanical Ltd. to schedule an appointment to provide the recommended cleaning and install the filters for you. When filters are installed, we provide "original equipment" filters so your original equipment warranty will continue to be honored.
